OOTD – All black

Hej med jer,

(English summary below)

I have officially gone into winter mode. Colours: see you next spring! 😉 Ok, I will try and squeeze in a little navy blue, gray and maybe the occasional burgundy, but otherwise black is my colour at the moment.

As mentioned, I have lost some weight. 14 kg/30 Lbs to be exact. It is with mixed feelings, because I can no longer fit into my clothes! So you will probably see a blogger that is a little less experimental for a while as I will no longer shop as much as before.

The black knit dress I am wearing here is from last year and from Asos (main line size UK18). I love the low back and the cute detail with the thumb hole. Sexy but edgey, just the way I like it! 😉 I have styled it with my Steve Madden sneaker wedges for a cool, casual everyday look.

Black knit dress – Asos // Black statement necklace – Second Female // Tights (two pairs to make them non see thru) – local supermarket // Hilight sneaker wedges – Steve Madden

Over knuckle rings – Moss Copenhagen
Black statement necklace – Second Female
 Earrings – Pilgrim
   Earrings – Pilgrim
When I wear all black, I always make sure that there are many interesting details to my outfit. You can do it by mixing different textures; knit, leather, lace, denim, fur, etc. It helps break up the black a little and keep the outfit interesting. In my opinion it is much more difficult to style an all black outfit than a colourful one, because the black needs a lot more help.

What is your goal with losing weight? Ive just started myself last week. I have size 48 and i would love to down to a size 44. Nothing wrong with 48 but i was getting myself in the way. I wasnt happy anymore.

  2. Thanks, Ellen 🙂 I agree, nothing wrong with a size 48, I have learned to love my body at any size, but I felt that it was time to focus a little on my self and make sure that I could keep my good health in the future as well. My goal is a size 42. I was very skinny 10 years ago (after a big weight loss) I was a size 34-36 and my body did not appreciate that. I am a curvy girl and I am the happiest when I am a little soft 😉
