OOTD – Polkadots

Hej med jer,

(English below)

It is sale time and that means that some of the things you have been eyeing for so long is suddenly marked down to a price where you can no longer resist and MUST click “buy”! 😉 That was what I felt last week when I saw that Carmakoma had marked this pretty polkadot dress down by 70%! As I write this it is still available in all the sizes, så hurry up and stop by before it is gone 😉

It is really a summer dress, but when the summer weather won’t cooperate, you will have to style a little different. Black 70 denier tights is your friend in need/the cold.

Polkadot dress “Anvers” – Carmakoma // black tights – Evans // Black fringe back – Botkier // Black leather necklace – Byflou // Diamante stud leather cuff – gifted // black studded belt – Asos Curve // Black suede shoes – Skoringen

I wanted to keep today’s outfit in balck and white. It has been a while since I have played with the monochromatic tones, but this new dress really made that obvious to do. So I styled with blac, black and more black. The dress can be styled very “ladylike” and also a little more “rock’n’roll”, I tend to go for the latter and therefore I chose edgy leather accessories, like the studded belt from Asos Curve and the pretty studded leather cuff my friend bought me for my birthday a few years ago (does she know me or what?! ;-)) I don’t think the black tights ruin anything, on the contrary they will take this dress into fall/winter as well. Paired with a pair of black boots and a leather jacket.

Orange red “velvet touch” lipstick in the colour “Lambada” – GOSH

I thought that a red lip would really be the icing on the cake. And it does actually give that extra little pop that an all black and white outfit sometimes need. It could also have been a pair of red heels, a red belt og a red bag.

Leather cuff with diamante studs – gifted // “silver” ring – Gina Tricot
Har I gjort nogle gode kup under udsalget?

Have you made some good scoops during the sale?

  1. Two days ago I ordered this adorable little dress- coincidence, coincidence 🙂 You look lovely in it, I can only hope that it will look as good on me as it does on you;) It's my first Carmakoma item ever so I hope I got the seizing right. I was a bit shocked how much they charge for delivery, but I couldn't resist.
I will definitely steal your black tights idea as the summer is nowhere to be seen in Germany either. I wanted to pair it with red ballerinas and red nail polish but also love your red lipstick. If I have a brave day, I might try it out. It looks great on you! Thank you for another lovely post!Keep them coming! xo Tini
